…. So It’s Been A While?

HELLO everyone,
I promise I will not be as negligent starting RIGHTTTT now. I will have no other choice other than to do homework, cook, and write blogs when it begins blizzarding here in Boston… which seems to be right around the corner.

Since the last time I posted, let’s see here…. an African American became our new President elect, HOLOGRAMS are now in fashion, oh and pot is not a major felony in Boston anymore.

So everything is about Thanksgiving on TV, in the foodie blogs, but most specifically in the “Thanksgiving Issues” of the Foodie Mags- Food & Wine, Bon Appetit, Cooking Light, Everyday with Rachel Ray

I thought it would be a good idea to perhaps pick up some of my favorite Turkey recipes from the various magazines and place them in here, see what you guys think about them. If there are some you have come across that sound delish, feel free to comment.

Honestly… take two of my favorites and somehow combine them in a Thanksgiving side dish? This is why I love you F & W

AS FOUND ON EZRA’S POUND CAKE Blog… MARTIN’S BRISKET- Around Holiday time who can honestly turn down brisket? Maybe I’m biased because I grew up with melt-in-your-mouth brisket around Thanksgivingtime every year. But I am telling you, to try brisket if you have not- there will be no regrets

… AGAIN I REFER BACK TO FOOD AND WINE FOR THEIR …. LEEK MAC & CHEESE– Now, if you don’t like leeks, clearly this dish MAY not be for you, but if you do love mac & cheese with a “twist” this could be the perfect side dish to Thanksgiving day dinner.

“THINK INSIDE THE ICEBOX’S” PUMPKIN SPICED CUPCAKES- Typically NOT a fan of the Pumpkin flavored foods, especially around Thanksgiving, because it’s tacky but not only are these cupcakes delicious but they look beautifullll

TO SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST, I GIVE YOU “KUMQUAT CONNECTION’S”…. CINNAMON PUMPKIN CHALLAH, do I really need to elaborate on the statement I just made?
